Melt borosilicate glass rod in a bench torch flame to make a take-home lens to magnify objects 10x, suitable for field work. Learn some physical properties of glass including viscosity and Coefficient of Thermal Expansion. Learn to “cut” glass tube to make a glass siphon to transfer fluids between vessels. Bonus Demo (time permitting): World’s smallest marbles!
